Bonifay offers various recreational activities, including parks, sports facilities, and access to the nearby Holmes Creek Water Management Area, which provides opportunities for outdoor activities like fishing, boating, and hiking

Golfers will delight in the opportunity to play at Dogwood Lakes Golf Course. The course is conveniently located just a few miles northwest of the city. The 151-acre championship golf course has 40 golf carts and a wonderful restaurant that serves lunch daily. The course has a full 18 holes with a par of 72, it was designed with every level of play in mind.
